About Us

We Provide The Educational Technology to Help Students

Home Educators Network (HEN), is a legal, nonprofit organization (501(c) 3) established to provide support and resources to parents for a structured or unstructured home schooling program. We are not a school. We are a consultant and resource center for home schools, providing standard curriculum guides, suggested resources, and numerous helpful web links to make your home school experience well organized and manageable. This program has been developed over a period of several years, and is among the first to attempt and succeed at integrating technology into the curriculum. The program is designed to meet the needs of the students.

Mission Statement

The Information highway is changing the way we educate.....

As a result, our mission is to implement bright new ideas into the home school environment. We want to initiate new ways to utilize the information superhighway to effect the educational experience of our children and introduce new ways to improve and motivate student learning through creating a safe learning environment. We aim to address special-needs and learning difficulties more effectively and provide unique learning activities, while making sure the parents never have reason to regret their decision to home school.

The purpose of your donation is to help parents homeschooling their children that not have been able to succeed in a classroom environment previously. We tutor and offer homeschooling to help them display their true potential.

Learn About Home Educator's Network, Inc.

The Home Educator's Network, Inc., in Temple, Texas is a home school program and online resource center for homeschoolers and educational communities alike. We have created a prolific educational program and have been successfully in business for more than 20 years. We have also worked with the school districts to work with students who have problems in the classroom. Our detailed learning technologies provide online education tools like CDs to assist students with their daily study needs.

Many years ago, our family experienced problems with bullying to the point that we needed to provide homeschooling services for our child due to the emotional and physical trauma they experienced. At that time resources for starting Home Schooling Programs were very limited, so we created our own using CD-ROMs. We began promoting our interactive educational technologies online using a bulletin board. Soon, we were requested by associates to offer the same service that we were offering to others and went into business.

With our program, parents must be actively engaged in their child's class selections by choosing a curriculum that matches their values and beliefs as well as finding what best fits the child's needs. Most importantly, the program we use fulfills the requirements and standards of the students local school district. Over the years, we have taught students that are professionals in top legal fields, medical fields, and even entrepreneurs that work in art museums and have achieved B.A. and Masters degrees.

This organization is under the direction of a board of directors, consisting of teachers, compensation analysts, and administrative assistants, and an advisory group consisting of retired teachers, curriculum specialists, computer programmers, accountants, and computer technicians. The purpose of your donation is to help parents homeschooling their children that not have been able to succeed in a classroom environment previously.
