My parents went on vacation for a few weeks, and I’ve been staying with my little sister while they are gone. Although we are years apart in age, she is my best friend, and I enjoy our time together. The past few nights I’ve read her every story she owns before bed, and we had to re-read some last night. Unlike my parents, I knew I could find stories online for free, which is where I found your page, http://felixr13.sg-host.com/resources-links and I wanted to say thank you. I figured I’d look for another page to hold us over for a few more days and I found another jackpot, https://sleepopolis.com/education/bedtime-stories-for-kids/ which has loads of different nursery rhymes, lullabies, and stories. Jade’s favorite princess is Rapunzel and we got to read a story on her. She loved all the original rhymes that were from my childhood and even the newer ones. I thought you would want to add it to your page, between both pages I think we have every nursery rhyme imaginable.
I just wanted to thank you for such a wonderful homeschool program. It is well though out and well defined. It has helped my third grader and my eighth grader so much.
We never had to guess where to go and what to do because you had it all mapped out with the Daily Planners. We loved Brainpop activities and the links with the worksheets really helped. But you know what was very important was the fact that you were always there when we needed you either by phone, email or in person. You are always willing to help.
Your homeschool program has allowed my girls time to catch up or reinforce whatever subject they needed help with.
The CD ROMS have been very helpful to me in getting my program started. I knew I needed to home school, but had absolutely no idea how to get started.
This program has provided curriculum guides for me to use in setting up my program. It also provided links to resources that I could draw from in making decisions with reference to my home school program.
When I started in this program as a fifth grader, I was having difficulty with math, and a couple of other subjects as well as enduring continued harassment from fellow classmates in the public school. I was at my lowest ebb both academically and emotionally. Had to come out of school because of the bullies. I was in this program for three years. The school had classed me as Special Ed. I could take in the information, but I could not express it, so the public schools said.
With the help and guidance of this program and my mother, I was told what to do, and then I was shown how to do. This program taught me how to express myself. Help me to understand that I could do what ever I wanted if I tried.
As a lover of music, I went back into the classroom, because I wanted to play in the band. I was not allowed to do this in the home school environment. I did became a band member and I am still a Band member. I passed the TAAS test. I have also maintained good grade average, which has allowed me to continue my membership in the high school band. I also learned to play the piano and played with the high school jazz band. This program helped me. I am now a junior in high school. looking forward to graduation next year and preparing to go to college. I did attend Austin Community College part-time, and received my degree in Business Administration. Thanks Gram-ma
As a 10th grader, I wanted to get out of high school fast. Thanks for helping me to prepare for my GED. I passed the GED, and I am now attending the junior college of my choice.
My first year with this program was a very troublesome year for me. I was having problems with deep depression. The staff did not push me that first year. Just encouraged me and offered suggestions that seemed to help. The second year in the program, I gained some self esteem, and confidence, and I completed the balance of the 9th grade that I missed, and most of the 10th grade. I did obtain my driver's license with the assistance of this program. I also went to work part time, and continued my home schooling. Thanks for your patience, I was able to get my self together pass the GED, get a job, and later on I got married. . .Thanks.
